A few weeks ago I shared that I reviewed and okayed the thumbnail sketch art for my book. "St. Joseph's Hammer" is now in the line art stage, which is where my talented illustrator makes very detailed drawings of each page, based on the sketches she did. Once all of the line art pages are approved, she will then color them.
Each phase, the line art, as well as the coloring, will all take well over a month to complete because of the amount of detail I commissioned. The pages will all have full backgrounds so it is a tremendous amount of work for Amanda, the illustrator.
Here is a sneak peek of young St. Joseph from the thumbnail sketch phase. It is so fun seeing this story come alive. I can't wait to see all of the further detail that will be added!
